School Climate Surveys

May 9, 2018
Dear Parents/Guardians:

The Ministry of Education requires a school climate survey be conducted every two years that not only identifies areas of concern, but also directs school improvement planning in individual schools.

From May 9 to May 23, WECDSB parents and staff will be asked to complete a school climate survey.  The survey is anonymous and voluntary and will take approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete. The survey asks questions concerning equity and inclusive education, safe and accepting schools, attitudes towards student achievement, faith formation, mental health and well-being. The results from each school will be discussed by the individual Safe Schools Team.  The results are important in confirming strengths and identifying areas of need.

To access the survey please use the following link:   We will use the survey results and other information to make our Catholic school-community a safe, respectful and welcoming place in which to learn.

I would like to thank you in advance for your cooperation and participation in our school climate survey.
