Which one does not belong? Why?

Dismissal time is a very busy time of day. Hundreds of students are exiting the building to either board busses, walk home, or get picked by a parent/relative. If your child is walking home or being picked up, they must exit the school via their designated exit door and into the school yard. We ask that parents/relatives wait for them outside the school yard. If your child is getting a ride home, parents/relatives are asked to park in the parking lot in a parking spot and meet their children outside the schoolyard and then safely escort them back to the car. Please do not park or stop your vehicle along the curb or in a laneway. The curb running from the back of the parking lot to the front of the school must remain clear at all times. If you are parked or stopped along the curb or in a laneway, you will be asked to move your vehicle.
We hope that the clarification of the above procedures will help eliminate any confusion or congestion that may be experienced at the end of the day, as well as ensure the safety of our children. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation.

The Teddy Bear Hospital Project provides an opportunity to educate young children about medicine and what happens when they go to see a doctor, either in the hospital, clinic or for a regular checkup. The project hopes to help alleviate some of the fear and anxiety that children may face during a medical encounter and familiarize them with the tools that doctors use. This program also provides hands on educational workshops about healthy lifestyle habits, asthma and allergies, immunizations and x-rays. Our local Teddy Bear Hospital Project is a student-led initiative through the Schulich School of Medicine Windsor Campus. The Grade 1 students at OLMC School participated in this exciting and informative session.

Staff, students and parents celebrated the start of Advent with a beautiful prayer service in our school gymnasium, hosted by Mr. Ferrarini's Grade 2 class and Mrs. Girard's Grade 6 class. Father Mike Parent provided an inspirational message regarding our role as Catholics to be the light of the world and to reach out to the less fortunate and marginalized in our community and in our world, especially during this Advent Season. We are confident that the students of OLMC School will show their kindness and compassion and give generously to our school wide Chalice Charity Campaign during Advent.
