We are very pleased to announce that the OLMC school lunch program will resume on Monday November 28, 2016.  The dates of our existing lunches are the following:

Monday November 28, 2016 – special pasta lunch

Monday December 5, 2016 – taco lunch

Monday December 12, 2016 – pizza lunch

Monday December 19, 2016 – pasta lunch

Monday January 9, 2017– special pasta lunch

Monday January 16, 2017– taco lunch

Please register online for OLMC to raise up to $6000


Attention all drivers,  please go on line and help OLMC  raise up to $6000 for our school. See the instructions below to help you register now.  Please share this page with your family and friends and invite them to register too.  Ford Canada will donate $20 for each eligible driver that registers. 

You will have the chance to test drive many Ford vehicles at the 3rd annual Fitathon, courtesy of Rosecity Ford and the Chisholm Family on Tuesday, June 21st at the Ciociaro Club.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Living Rosary


It was a day of prayer and reverence.  Our closing ceremony for Education Week included a beautiful living Rosary with over 620 students participating.  Thank you to the many staff, community volunteers and parent volunteers for your leadership.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel New Phone Extensions
Recently our school phone system was upgraded.  All staff members now have a voice mailbox in order for parents to contact them directly.  This mailbox will allow staff members to receive their voice mail messages directly.  When calling the school, parents will be asked to select the appropriate extension, please see the list below for your child's teacher extension.

OLMC "Lit it up Blue" for Autism Awareness

Olmc staff and students wore blue on Monday to show our support for Autism Awareness.  We were thrilled to have a representative from Autism Ontario for a presentation in the gym.  The students were so very happy to show off there blue lights at the end of the assembly.  Thank you Mrs. Laporte, Mrs. Bodde and the OLMC Student Council for leading this event.  Your leadership helped OLMC raise over $1045 allowing various students with Autism to participate in summer camps.

March is Epilepsy Awareness month, and Domino’s Pizza of Canada Ltd is helping to support this worthy cause.  Domino’s will be donating a slice of pizza to every student at OLMC.  All students are asked to donate $2.00 in order to help support the Epilepsy Support Centre.  This pizza snack will be provided on Thursday March 31, 2016.  All students should still bring a regular lunch to school on this day.

About Win Harwood

Win is well known as a parent educator and an inspiring, motivational speaker. Her message is a message of hope.

She has lectured nationally and internationally to audiences of parents, educators, health professionals, and business people on the topics of parenting, family relationships, personal potential, and balancing work and family. She has served as a nurse, and a community college educator. She has also been an expert consultant to social service agencies such as Hiatus House. She is a frequent guest on radio and television, and is a regular guest with Lynn Martin on CKLW.

Win received Windsor’s Woman of the Year Award for her volunteerism and her contributions to families in the community.

As well as speaking and facilitating workshops, Win has a private practice counselling and providing clients with education and support.

Win passionately believes that everyone has the right to reach their full potential, and has often been quoted as saying, "The greatest loss in life is the loss of human potential."

OLMC French Carnaval Week!

Crepe day was a huge success!  Thank you to the OLMC French team- Mme Mancini, Mme Testani and Mme Patrick for organizing this delicious culinary experience for all gr. 4- 8 students.  A special thank you to our favourite retired teachers for coming out to assist in serving the students on this special day.  Miss Massara and Mrs. Lacey, we love your presence in our building!
